Advising

My Mitchell statement followed one idea, migration, from a DNA test in its first sentence to a return to Dublin in its last, and the rest of that application had to support the same plan. I advise students the same way. We begin by finding the thread that connects what they have done to where they are going, and then each part of the application has to support it.

During my Mitchell year, I attended governmental meetings aimed at resolving conflict between opposing parties in Northern Ireland, and I really learned how to sit in a room and listen. I begin every first consultation the same way, and it is free.

The Deadline Sprint and the Final Stretch suit students whose deadlines are close. Starter suits families part-way through the process who need help finishing essays, responding to a waitlist or deferral, preparing for interviews, or building a school list and an overall essay narrative. Gold suits families who already have a school list and want help developing and editing essays. Platinum covers the whole process, including test preparation, the school list, essays, interviews, and the final decision.

You can request a refund of unused hours within 30 days of buying a package. Colleges and programs make admissions decisions, and I cannot promise a result.
